The foot part fits true to size, but the part that goes over the ankle and lower calf runs small, very tight. So tight that it was causing shin splints and had to remove them and use my 1mm booties.

We have sold thousands over the past 8.5 years and nobody has ever left feedback about tight ankles before. Perhaps you should size up to a Medium since you purchased and reviewed the smalls!
